HAMMERSMITH BRIDGE

Hammersmith Bridge is currently CLOSED TO MOTOR TRAFFIC, including buses, until major safety-critical strengthening work is completed. There are diversions for motorists via Chiswick Bridge and Putney Bridge.

THE BRIDGE HAS REOPENED FOR PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS

PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS are located on both sides of the bridge. Currently there is a one way system in operation which requires you to use the walkway on the left side of the bridge in each direction.

Cyclists must dismount and take the pedestrian walkway.
